Conversation #1
Party-goer: "Hey guys! Stephanie you look great! I love Flava Flav. That's like sooooo funny! LOL OMG BRB CTR."
Party-goer then looks at me. "Ummmmm what are you supposed to be?"
Morgan: "I'm Laser Cat."
Party-goer: "Laser what?"
Morgan: "LASER CAT. It's from SNL."
Party-goer: "I don't know what that is." Party-goer then walks away.
Morgan: "Happy Halloween...?"
Conversation #2
Party-goer: "Flava Flav!! That's an awesome costume Stephanie!"
Party-goer stares at me.
Still staring.
Party-goer: "Are you a flame thrower or something?"
Morgan: "No. I'm Laser Cat."
Party-goer: "Is that like a cartoon character?"
Morgan: "No. It's from Saturday Night Live. My cat shoots lasers out of its mouth and kills people."
Party-goer: "Oh...ummmm well I'll talk to you guys later."
Conversation #3
Party-goer: "Love the costume Steph! Flava Flav! What a great idea!"
Steph: "Thanks! What do you think of Morgan's costume?"
Party-goer: "Oh ummmm...wait what are you?"
Morgan: "Whatever you want me to be."
By the end of the night I had lost about 80% of my street cred.
And for those of you who are still wondering what Laser Cat is....go ahead and feed your curiosity.
And if any of you are wondering who Flava Flav is, then I regret to inform you we can no longer be friends.

I would have known what you were. But then again Devin consistently shoots with Teeny Mitch Tupac the Cat Fletcher like she is a laser cat and last year Devin was "Dick in a box" from SNL so I'm kinda a fan.
